Our story

Our History

Purchasing the business in 1971, Peter Zigouras developed the business in response to product demands. Septic tanks in the sandy belt of the Mornington Peninsula; developing trade waste designs in response to stricter EPA & local water authority controls within the state; our Resi Well in response to droughts and more recently the design and development of the first approved Concrete Fire Bunker in consort with the CSIRO and Swinburne University.

An inventor and entrepreneur, Peter now leaves the operations and future of Frankston Concrete to his sons, Nicholas & Ben. This transition was hallmarked by the move from Miles Grove, Seaford site to a purpose-built facility at Colemans Road, Dandenong South.

“Thanks for arranging the delivery of our 300mm and 450mm pipes in early Feb. The guys on the ground have really enjoyed installing them with the 2 x lifting points provided. A lot less manual handling.

Just wanted to let you know that you guys will be our preferred supplier moving forward now.
